The company began as a mail order business supported by a quality catalogue which we can justifiably describe as the foremost publication of its kind in the United Kingdom.

Since the first Carnoisseur catalogue was produced in 1981 Neville Crow, founder of Carnoisseur, has sought to bring quality car accessories within reach of the true car enthusiast.

Initially this was achieved through a Mail Order operation, however, since 1986 franchised shops have traded under the Carnoisseur brand. This unique concept has been the cornerstone of Carnoisseur's success and longevity. The continuity and consistency of owner-operated franchised stores is a result of personal, individual service.
